Meet the teachers

Miss FELICIA

Miss Felicia is an L.A. Native that starting dancing at the age of 5. She has been in parades, performed in stage shows, cruise line and music videos. She has been training and teaching for over 20 years and loves watching students grow as dancers. She has helped manage many dance studios in the San Fernando Valley and has decided it’s time to open her own. She hopes you will come be a part of an exquisite performing arts space.

mr. Roman

Coming from LA, CA; Roman Vasquez has had the opportunity to work for artists such as Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, Celine Dion, BackStreet Boys, Eva Longoria, Roselyn Sanchez, Anastasia, just to name a few. Other television/film and video credits include American Music Awards, MTV Music Awards, Kids Choice Awards , Pepsi, Sprite, EL Pollo Loco, Days of Our Lives, Rock the Reception, Bring it On 5, Indiana Jones 4, Mobbed and Alvin and the Chipmunks 3d. Stage shows including EFX with Michael Crawford and David Cassidy, Splash, Christina Aguilera Tour, Jessica Simpson Promo stage show. He has also choreographed and performed with companies such as Nike, FUBU, Adidas, Red-kin and Paul Mitchell. Roman Vasquez continues to choreograph and teach across the country on workshops and dance conventions.

Miss Leslie

Leslie hails from the North East where she trained in ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance. She attended New York University and holds a degree in Theater and Dance. Leslie currently dances throughout Los Angeles with varies companies. She has also appeared in films and television series. Leslie also acts and is currently producing a film. She is happy to be apart of the Le Petit staff.

Miss Rayna

Rayna was trained in modern, ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and ballroom at Palm Beach Atlantic University after spending countless years training at her local studio and high school dance team. Rayna graduated with her Bachelors in Performing Arts for Dance and performed at Disney's Vero Beach Resort just before moving to Los Angeles to begin her dance career. She continues to train with the best in the business and has been actively working in the entertainment industry for the last 15 years. Rayna loves teaching the next generation of dancers and has been teaching for the past 10 years.

Miss Hedy

Miss Hedy was raised in a dance studio from the time she could walk, her mother was a dance teacher so it was a rare moment if she didn’t spend it in the studio. She started studying voice and music when she was seven and continued this into college where she majored in Performing Arts with a focus in Musical Theatre at AMDA College of the Performing Arts. Hedy graduated with her BFA in October of 2019 and her first job out of college was as a dance teacher at Miss Melodee Studios now Le Petite Performing Arts Center. From there she started working at Allegra Music Academy as a voice, performance and piano teacher. She is trained in various styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary and musical theatre. She says “Music and dance are the loves of my life and I am grateful for any chance to work with and share them. When I’m not teaching, I’m writing music, performing with various artists, dance companies and painting.”

MISS EMILY

Emily O’Rourke grew up in Burbank, California where she developed and embraced a passion for the arts at an early age. Inspired by her surroundings she began studying dance when she was 10 years old. Emily has worked with and trained under artists such as Gracie Whyte, Morgan Burke, and Kyle Abraham. Emily recently graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with her BA in Dance. She is an LA based artist following her passion of working in the worlds of dance, choreography, television, and film while continuing to learn, create, grow, and explore every aspect of art in everyday life. Emily is currently on Geometry Dance Company.

MISS ALANA

Alana Astor was raised in Des Moines, IA and began her dance journey at the age of 3 years old. She trained with Brekke Dance Center in a variety of styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical. She traveled throughout the midwest and other parts of the country competing with her competitive dance team. After graduating from high school, she continued her training at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in Los Angeles, CA and New York City, NY. There her training expanded and she grew to love other styles of dance such as hip hop, heels, modern and broadway styles. She also developed an interest in singing and acting. Alana evokes emotions and new experiences through dancing for herself and audiences. She is most fulfilled when dancing on stage in front of an audience. Alana’s genuine and good vibes is what makes her an asset in any room. She will forever be inspired by these words from one of her teachers at AMDA: “God made you special so you don’t fit in everywhere you go, but the places you fit in is where you belong.”

MISS KENNEDY

Kennedy Chavez was born and raised in Los Angeles California. Kennedy graduated from Sherman Oaks Center for enriched studies and is continuing her education at CSUN. She is a dance teacher at Le Petit Performing Arts Center. She has been dancing since she was three years old. When Kennedy is not dancing you will catch her relaxing at the beach. Kennedy’s favorite style of dance is contemporary. Her favorite part of this job she says is “ When the little ones pick up a dance move that you have been showing them every week.” She also says “ I love teaching dance and watching you all grow into amazing dancers. I can’t wait to meet you at the studio to come dance with me!”
